When I was a child, we had an attic. That's where stuff ended up when we ran out of room down below. Up to the attic in boxes it went, some labeled some not. Some years later when my parents moved to a smaller house, I was called back to sort through my belongings and decide what to keep, what to toss out. Unable to break free of the past, I kept it all.
This is my attic. Here are bits of stuff I made over the last half century. Some of it draws on my teaching, some of it keys to my research, other postings made off-duty - just playing around. I have gathered it together in one place paying little attention to any coherence it might have as a body of work. It has been lying about, hidden under the eaves, boxes of drafts rediscovered, even a home movie
No longer a child, memory fades. Sorting through all this stuff took hours. At times, I was frustrated, like when viewing old photos trying to recall the names of faces, identify place and time. Does my code really need that feature? Why did I write this article? Would it still have meaning, value to reader?
Appropriately, the first box contains a memory game. It's a relatively recent production. To open, click on the ☰ menu top left and select Memory Game. So too for the others.
